If you've survived a Vermont spring, you know the threat is real. This piece was painted for the Mud Season exhibit at Artistree in Woodstock, VT — and while other artists were painting atmospheric landscapes of soggy fields and grey skies, I painted a mud monster rising from the road to chase two kids through the muck.
Because that's what mud season actually feels like.
Look closer and you'll find both of my cats hidden somewhere in the chaos. And a UFO. I'm not going to tell you where — half the fun is finding them.
Museum-quality posters made on thick matte paper. • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil • Paper weight: 189 g/m² • Opacity: 94% • ISO brightness: 104%
